Happy Home duo (Bears & R-E) are performing at Servant Jazz Quarters at around 9ish Thursday 23rd.

We've added Tuesday 21st June to the dates.
R-E will also play a short solo set of guitar tunes written for the exhibition but that we didn't have time to rehearse properly. The set will begin at about 6:45 cos we've got to be out of the gallery by 8:00.

Live, Not Live at Fort Normal

Hi all, some of you caught our recent Happy Home sets playing as a duo, some of you didn't. But whatever, I recorded all the practices and the last one was pretty close to how we intended it all to come out, so you can all hear roughly how it sounded here on our Bandcamp page.

The Happy Home LP is going to be called Forts. I'd hope to share some of it pretty soon, in the next month or so. I'm trying to finish "True Believers" first cos Super Sinister is shooting a video for it, so that'll probably be the first thing you'll hear.

at the moment. We're about 40% or

so of the way through it I'd guess.

Something like that. We think it 

might be called "IRREAL TAPES"

but maybe a better idea will come

along in the meantime, let's see.

R-E plays IIIrd I

I played the inaugural Third Eye Club last Friday, the 13th, definitely an auspicious number. Many thanks to the organisers Self-Existing Eagle and Shanaz Mon Zaki for asking us to play, Luciano Foglia who did the lighting, Elian Gray for coaching duties and Super Sinister for the photographs.

Hopefully it will be the first of many of these.

Bears was exploring the desert and Mike Mike was exploring the valleys, so the set ended up as a lone wander thru the Happy Home...

Also there was a little preview of "High Roots" from the Legendary Weapons of China LP...

I heard a rumour that the set was filmed, you'll be the first to know if it was.
